Between April and November I use the method feeder a lot in my match fishing, it allows me to deliver a parcel of bait with my hook bait safely encompassed in the free offerings moulded around the feeder. Some time ago, carp anglers cottoned on to the technique of method feeder fishing but it never really took off, Korda and ESP still produce dedicated specimen carp method feeders and it is a tactic that Darrel Peck used last year to land carp to over 40lb. Method feeder fishing couldn't be easier and this is my favourite rig that I use when fishing the method feeder.
